Recording & real-time transcription
Start a patient session, capture the consultation, and generate clinical documents in a few clicks.
Real-time transcription is the core of AuraScribe. The Deepgram Nova-3 Medical engine understands bilingual clinical vocabulary with over 97% accuracy — even in noisy environments like emergency departments.
Before each session, obtain explicit patient consent as required by Quebec Law 25. A digital consent form is available directly in the interface. Once e-signed, it is archived in the patient record with a timestamp.
Click "New session" and select the visit type (consultation, renewal, emergency). AuraScribe activates the microphone and begins transcribing in real time. Segments appear live, color-coded by speaker using multi-speaker diarization.
At the end of the session, click "Generate documents." AuraScribe automatically produces a structured SOAP note, a list of suggested RAMQ codes, and if relevant, a draft prescription or referral letter. You can edit each document before signing and exporting to your EMR.
Sessions are AES-256 encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted exclusively in Canada. No audio is retained after document generation, in line with your configured retention policy.
